After taking a long hiatus from the music industry to refocus on her acting career which rought her fame, fortune and recognition, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has decided to make a comeback again in 2013 and this time, she’s enlisted the help of producers from Akon’s Konvict Music label.
Omosexy as she is fondly called, made this disclosure in a recent interview. Here’s what she said:
“I am currently working with Grammy award winning producer Kendrick Dean and Verse Simmonds from Konvict Music and we are looking to feature a special guest”, Omosexy said.

Kanye shared Kim’s pregnancy news with the world while in concert, but a source tells HollywoodLife exclusively that Kanye may keep the rest of her pregnancy private if Kris Jenner doesn’t stop pimping out their baby!
It sounds like a family feud may be on the horizon for the Kardashian clan! Kanye West is easing into the idea of Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy being filmed for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but he’s taking it one day at a time. If things get out of hand, he may pull the plug!
A source close to Kanye, 35, tells HollywoodLife exclusively, “You know Kanye is just rolling with the punches right now with everything. He not tripping – -YET! All this TV [stuff] is new to him and Kim is explaining to him that everything is going to be OK and she’s encouraging him to just go with the fact that the pregnancy — or at least part of it — will be filmed.”
While the Kardashians may be used to having their lives filmed for millions of viewers week in and week out, starring on a reality show is totally new to Kanye! While he’s a bit uncomfortable with the situation, he appears to be playing it be ear for Kim’s sake. Aw — that’s true love!
“I know deep down, [Kanye] isn’t trying to pimp out his baby like that. He and Kim got way more than enough money to take care of 100 kids if they want to have that many. But he know that when it comes to Kim and her family, especially that mother of hers, it’s all business and that show is how they make their money. So he juggling all this [stuff] in his head right now, but he ain’t all hyped about it yet because it hasn’t gone down yet – – the filming that is,” our source continues.
“Kanye is a man who acts on his own! People need to remember that. He doesn’t let nobody control what he does and when he told the world Kim was pregnant, he did it on his own accord. That’s his baby — Kris [Jenner] didn’t get Kim pregnant. He did, so he will do what he wants to and when he wants to. There isn’t any beef, though, between Kanye and Kris. They’re cool as hell. Fact is, though, Kanye and Kim are calling all the shots with their baby. Nobody else!”

Several sources are reporting the nonprofit Wikimedia Foundation is slated to officially launch a travel website, Wikivoyage, this Tuesday, January 15. Similar to Wikipedia, the free website will be written by volunteer authors – except this website will solely focus on travel destinations and other travel topics, such as itineraries, phrasebooks and more.
During an interview on Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report” earlier this week, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales said the website is a priority for the company.
“We have a travel site that’s opening up soon; we will see how it goes,” Wales said.
The new endeavor has been softly launched since September, and already has more than 26,000 articles in eight languages. Articles are laid out in the familiar Wikipedia format, providing historical and geographic information as well as information on what to eat, drink and do in certain locations.
“Wikivoyage is built with the spirit of sharing knowledge that makes travel so enjoyable,” reads the “about” page on the Wikivoyage website. “Whenever travellers meet each other on the road, they swap info about the places they came from and ask questions about places they’re going. We want to make it easy to share that knowledge and let others share it; our copyleft license means that the facts you know can spread far and wide.”
Rivals Wikitravel, a commercial travel wiki operated by Internet Brands, seem more than unhappy about the new endeavor. According to PC World, the company filed suit against two former volunteers, charging them with theft of intellectual property and unfair competition in a criminal conspiracy. But Wikimedia Foundation has fired back, seeking a judicial declaration that Internet Brands had no lawful right to impede, disrupt or block the creation of the new project.
The good news for travelers is that the guides can be viewed on desktop, tablet and smartphone, not to mention freely downloaded and printed. Although it’s too early to say for sure, the ever-updated website seems as though it will give traditional guidebooks like Lonely Planet, Fodor’s and Frommer’s a run for their money.

What a tumultuous few days it’s been for Britney! A new report claims that she and fiancé Jason have called it quits, just as she’s chosen to leave ‘The X Factor’ after one season! Read on for all the details.
It looks as if 2013 is bringing about quite a few changes in the life of Britney Spears. After a report began circulating that the pop star would not be asked to return to The X Factor in the fall, Britney, 31, officially announced that she was leaving the show to focus on her music on Jan. 11. On the very same day, she also announced that she and fiancé Jason Trawick have called off their engagement!
In a statement released to HollywoodLife by her rep, Britney says, “Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.” Jason, 41, added, “As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever.”
Britney’s rep, Jeff Raymond, tells us, “Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have mutually agreed to end their one-year engagement. As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends.”

A source close to the couple tells HollywoodLife that the relationship was running on fumes for quite some time now. The relationship was “done right when the deal for her to do The X Factor happened,” our insider says. “They had to keep it secret for the duration of the show and the holidays for the kids. They knew people would start questioning things when they weren’t seen together during Valentine’s Day, so doing the announcement today was perfect with everyone worrying about the [Golden] Globes. He was more of a manager then a lover, so with no sexual chemistry, it was down hill from there.”
Britney & Jason’s Relationship History
Jason and Britney were engaged in 2011. Before the two began dating in 2009, he was her agent. Eventually, he was made her co-conservator, along with her dad, Jamie Spears. TMZ’s sources tell them that Jason didn’t want to announce the end of the relationship until he was removed from the conservatorship. The website reports that lawyers for the conservatorship, along with Jamie, were in court on Jan. 11, so the process of removing Jason very well may have begun.
Britney’s Other Big Announcement
This news comes on the heels of Britney’s official statement announcing her decision to not return to The X Factor. “I’ve made the very difficult decision not to return for another season. I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens but it’s time for me to get back in the studio,” she said.”
“Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can’t wait to get back out there and do what I love most.”

According to new reports Janet Jackson, 46, stands to receive $500 million if she stays married to her billionaire fiance, Wissam Al Manna, 37, for a minimum of five years.

Janet did not put off her New Year’s Eve wedding because of cold feet but because of cold cash, a friend has revealed.
The singer was due to marry Arab multi-billionaire Wissam Al Mana but their lawyers could not organise the prenuptial agreement in time.
This is no small matter as twice-married Janet has amassed a fortune of £93.5million from 10 hit albums and six major tours while Wissam is one of the richest investors in the Middle East where he represents such fashion and style icons as Hermes and Sonia Rykiel. He is also a major shareholder in Saks Fifth Avenue stores in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain and Kuwait.
“Janet will be marrying into the sort of wealth not even her brother Michael managed to amass during his lifetime of success,” said her friend. “She’s looking forward to a fairytale life with Wissam.”
Should the fairytale turn sour then the agreement still being worked on is reported to guarantee Janet, 46, a “kiss-off” of half-a-billion dollars (around £312.14million) if they divorce after a minimum of five years.

Former Governor of the Central Bank (CBN), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has denied reports that he was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday, insisting that rather, he was invited by the agency to make clarifications on some issues on a matter under investigation.
However, a source at the commission said Soludo was granted administrative bail and was allowed to go home, having been grilled for several hours by the commission’s team of investigators.
The source said his international and diplomatic passports were seized after he had produced two sureties at the level of Permanent Secretaries or Directors.
The source added: “But that is not the end because he is also expected back for further interrogation.
“I don’t have much details on the other 12 ex-staff of CBN and the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company who were linked with the scam; it is not as if the suspects are here.
“But a number of them have been questioned over time and they are both from NSPMC and CBN, it is not as if they are in our station at the moment.”
But a close aide of Soludo denied that his passports were seized or that he was granted any administrative bail, or that he provided any sureties.
A statement by his media office Friday said the former CBN Governor voluntarily went to the EFCC office to honour the commission’s invitation.
The statement signed by Bonaventure Melah said Soludo was neither arrested nor escorted to EFCC office by operatives of the commission as was reported.
“We want to put it on record clearly that the media reports that Professor Chukwuma Soludo was arrested by the operatives of the EFCC in Abuja is totally false or to say the least written in error.
“The fact of the matter is that the EFCC wrote a letter to Prof. Soludo inviting him to their Abuja office on the 10th of January 2013. EFCC’s invitation letter to Prof. Soludo was dated 20th December 2012.
“Soludo was abroad attending to several international engagements when the letter was sent to his aides. As a law-abiding citizen of the country, Soludo returned to Nigeria in the New Year and honoured EFCC invitation on January 10th as requested.
“He voluntarily went from his home to EFCC office on Thursday. He was neither arrested nor escorted by any operative of the Commission.
“The EFCC letter of invitation to Soludo states that: ‘This Commission is investigating a case in which the need to obtain certain clarifications from you has become imperative.’
“It was a two-paragraph letter which also indicated date and time for the meeting between Prof. Soludo and officials of the Commission,” the statement added.
The Guardian yesterday learnt that Soludo alongside others were quizzed by the anti-graft agency on the processes adopted in handling the contract and not on any alleged bribery.
A top official of the anti-graft agency, who pleaded anonymity, disclosed that the issues of alleged contract bribery did not come up during the interrogations, rather the agency was looking at the processes adopted in awarding the contract.
According to the official, Soludo made some clarifications on the issue on Thursday and was allowed to go home.

Robin van Persie has won the Barclays Player of the Month award for December, while Tottenham Hotspur’s Andre Villas-Boas has won the managerial award.
The Manchester United player is the top goalscorer in the Barclays Premier League this season after netting five times in six games during December as his side maintained their place at the top of the Barclays Premier League.
“It was a big month for us,” said Van Persie upon receiving the award. “You have certain periods during a season when it goes your way and December was one of those periods.”
André Villas-Boas was named the Barclays Manager of the Month for the month after guiding Tottenham Hotspur to four wins and a draw from their six Barclays Premier League fixtures.
“It’s been an excellent December for us and we’ve managed to put ourselves in the kind of position that we want to be,” Villas-Boas said. “We sit third in the league, but it is where we finish at the end of the season that matters.”

Director-General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, Dr. Paul Orhii, yesterday, warned Nigerians not to patronize the drugs announced by Professor Isaiah Ibeh of University of Benin, UNIBEN, as cure for HIV/AIDS.
He said the drug was not subjected to standard scientific protocols before announcement, and needed to be sanctioned.
Disassociating NAFDAC from the announcement, he said the product was never brought to his agency for vetting and neither was it subjected to any known institutional scrutiny.

He said: “We have started with disassociating ourselves from the so called cure. We will decide the appropriate sanction. We have invited him for further investigation.
“If our laws don’t have appropriate punishment for such persons who don’t follow scientific protocols in making such pronouncement, we will review the law and ensure that such do not occur again.
“The agency wishes to state that this herbal drug which is claimed to have undergone a series of successful tests has never been presented to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control for evaluation of efficacy and safety.
”This bogus claim of efficacy without following the appropriate procedure for drug evaluation is capable of misleading the public, especially those that have HIV/AIDs infection as there is no known official or scientifically proven cure for HIV/AIDS infection to date.”
“You may recall that Nigeria had been inundated with similar spurious claims in the past, when individuals announced cure for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis and Diabetes which later turned out to be false after thorough investigation.
“This is usually at the expense of innocent citizens who have risked their lives, wasted their time and money in search of the elusive cure for their ailments. Nigerians deserve better than to be used as Guinea pigs no matter how noble the intention of the researcher.
“Also recall that in September 2011, NAFDAC arrested the Managing Director of Winners Medical Diagnostics and Research Institute, Dr. Jacob Abdullahi for dealing in expired medicines claimed to be cure for HIV.
“Similarly, in November 2011, one Dr. (Amb) P.S.A. Bondima Young of Bondima Hepatoviral Centre, Jos was apprehended by NAFDAC for administering unregistered drugs on patients for the treatment of Hepatitis.
“I wish to caution other persons who might want to follow the footsteps of Prof. Isaiah Ibeh in making public claims for products whose safety and efficiency have not been scientifically proven to desist from such acts .
“There is a laid down protocol for determining efficacy and safety of new medicines and this must be strictly adhered to by all.”
