Lil Wayne Sued After Violent Skateboard Attack

February 9, 2013

More trouble for Weezy as he’s on the receiving of a lawsuit after a man was hit in the head with a skateboard by one of Wayne’s employees! Read on for all the details.

Lil Wayne‘s no stranger to trouble with the law, and the rapper’s facing down a new lawsuit from a fan who claims that one of Weezy’s employees bashed the man in the head with a skateboard — all for trying to take a measly photo!

The victim of the alleged attack, Alfredo Marino, has attorney Craig Chisvin file his lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court on Feb. 8. Alfredo claims that he spotted the rapper, 30, on the streets of L.A. in 2012 and attempted to take a picture. But before he could, a man who works for Weezy grabbed a skateboard and hit him in the back of the head.

In his lawsuiw, Alfredo claims he suffered a severe injury to his head as result of the assault, and is blaming the “Lollipop” rapper and his record label, Young Money Records, for the battery because he believes they were responsible for “enabling the attacker,” TMZ reports.

Alfredo is suing for unspecified damages.

Lil Wayne’s Recent Health Scare
The lawsuit comes just months after Lil Wayne had a health scare and had to be hospitalized twice for reported “seizure-like symptoms”. He was first hospitalized on Oct. 25 after exhibiting the symptoms aboard his private jet. The plane made an emergency stop in Texas, where he was rushed to a local hospital, TMZ reported.

His rep told HollywoodLife exclusively, “Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.”

The following day, he was reportedly rushed to the hospital again after exhibiting the same symptoms on a flight from Texas to Los Angeles.

Do you think Lil Wayne should be held responsible for this other man’s actions?

The ramp up of military and counterterror assistance to these countries – and the human rights abuses committed by these same actors – is seriously troubling.
